Last year, mixed doubles curling was added to the Olympic program creating even more buzz for an event that has been very popular in Europe and that is quickly catching on in Canada and the United States.  The Champions Curling Tour of Europe has a number of mixed doubles events on their schedule this season including the Canad Inns Mixed Doubles Classic which was recently held in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.  The team of Rachel Homan and John Morris won the event that included the gold and silver medalists from the 2016 World Championships along with former Canadian champions such Kalynn Virtue and Charley Thomas and other elite teams such as Jennifer Jones and Brent Laing.

From The Hack recently caught up with Jeff Stoughton who is the Mixed Doubles Program Manager for Curling Canada to discuss the Canad Inns Classic and other mixed doubles-related topics.
