This month, our “Curling World” feature takes us to New Zealand for a conversation with Sean Becker who has represented New Zealand internationally for the better part of twenty years including; 4 Pacific-Asia Championships, a 5th place finish at the 2012 World Curling Championships and a silver medal at the 2010 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships along with his sister.  Becker also had the honour of being New Zealand’s flag-bearer at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino.

Becker joined us to discuss the history of the sport in New Zealand, the challenges emerging curling nations face in keeping up with team in Northern Europe and to share some of his favourite curling memories:
